Graham Kay

Graham Kay was born in Wallasey and has spent most of his life in Wirral. He is self taught and has painted regularly since 1990. He works in oils, pastels, acrylics and is now venturing into watercolour – leaving the hardest till last!

Although he paints landscapes and town-scapes from many parts of this country, the scenes of Liverpool, the Mersey and Wirral have been a special source of inspiration for him. He is also much inspired by the images and moods of Venice. Looking to the future he hopes to include more contemporary styles and narrative themes in his range of work.

His original paintings and fine art prints are in private collections in this country and across the world.

It is with great sadness that the Society learned of Graham’s death in 2023. His website is still active and so we have maintained a link here so that people can continue to enjoy his beautiful paintings.
