Jayne Huskisson

I am a textile artist living on the Isle of Anglesey. A graduate in Fashion/Textile Design BA (Hons), I worked as a fashion designer before specialising in textile art for the last 30 years. I aim to capture a sense of place of the beautiful surrounding landscape and birdlife of north Wales with a contemporary twist, painting on silk with a vivid palette of silk paints encapsulated by simplicity of line. I have exhibited in Ireland and throughout Wales, with work held in private and public collections across the world and have gained numerous awards from societies and public bodies.
