I paint from my studio in Flintshire and specialise in still lifes, usually of food, fruit and drinks. All paintings are in oil and produced using traditional methods often used by the ‘Old Masters’. My paintings are intended to be detailed but not photographic. On close inspection the viewer can see how the paint has been manipulated on the canvas to give a ‘realistic’ appearance. The beauty of light reflecting off different surfaces are what brings my paintings to life.
